HR GeneralistThe HR Generalist will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, supporting recruitment efforts and contributing to employee relations and talent development.Duties/ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources:Manage the full-cycle recruitment process – from job postings and candidate screening through interview coordination, offer, and onboardingConduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of required employment documentationMaintain employee records and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality, and assist with audits, HR reporting, and preparation of key workforce metricsAdminister benefits enrollment, changes, and terminationsServe as a knowledgeable resource for employee questions related to policies, benefits, payroll, and HR proceduresSupport employee relations by addressing routine concerns, providing coaching, and escalating complex matters to the HR Manager as appropriateAssist with performance management processes – including evaluations, development planning, and corrective action documentationAssist in developing and implementing HR policies and proceduresLead employee recognition programs, social activities, and initiatives to support team engagementPayroll Administration:Process payroll accurately and on schedule for both hourly and salaried employees using the HRIS/payroll system, including review and verification of timesheets, attendance records, and pay adjustmentsMaintain comprehensive payroll records covering deductions, garnishments, benefits, and tax withholdings, and coordinate changes related to new hires, terminations, promotions, compensation adjustments, and leave status updatesRespond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner – ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws and payroll tax regulationsSupport year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing and auditsLeave of Absence Administration:Administer all employee leave programs – including FMLA, ADA accommodations, military leave, personal leaves, and applicable state or company programs – coordinating with the Occupational Health and Safety Nurse for leave requests and return-to-work processesProvide employees with required documentation, eligibility guidance, and clear communication regarding their rights and responsibilities throughout the leave process; track leave balances, intermittent usage, and return-to-work datesCoordinate with managers, the Occupational Health and Safety Nurse, and benefits providers/brokers to ensure accurate processing of leave-related pay and benefitsBenefits Administration:Support the administration of employee benefit programs – including health, dental, vision, retirement, and ancillary plans – ensuring accurate enrollment, timely updates, and proper handling of qualifying life eventsServe as a knowledgeable resource for employees navigating their benefit options, providing clear guidance and connecting them with the tools, documentation, and support neededRequired Skills/AbilitiesRequired:Bachelor's degree in human resources; equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredDemonstrated experience in payroll processing and benefits administrationExperience with HRIS and payroll systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred:Experience with ADP Workforce NowBackground in manufacturing or industrial environmentsSHRM-CP or PHR certification Benefits & Perks Medical, Dental & Vision Eligibility from Hire Date401(k) with Company MatchBonus Eligibility - Onsite Physical TherapyFree Employer-Sponsored ClinicAnd Many More!Monday-Friday 40+ hours a week - flexible start and end times
