Human Resources GeneralistNORCAL Ambulance is looking to hire a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our rapidly growing team!Hours: Full Time (Monday - Friday) Pay: $70,000QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredMinimum of 4 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and investigationsKnowledge of California state and local labor regulations and lawsDemonstrated experience in conducting thorough and impartial HR investigationsExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrityBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchOpportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environmentWork in a value-driven company with a strong emphasis on employee well-beingKey ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations:Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing queries, concerns, and grievancesFoster a positive working environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential sources of conflict or dissatisfactionProvide counsel to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and consistencyInvestigations:Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations in response to employee complaints or allegations of policy violationsCollaborate with legal and management teams when necessary during investigationsEnsure all investigations are timely, compliant with legal requirements, and thoroughly documentedHR Administration:Oversee various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance evaluationsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsTraining and Development:Develop and facilitate training programs focused on workplace conduct, conflict resolution, and other pertinent topicsSupport the professional growth and development of our staff through skill-building initiativesReporting & Documentation:Maintain meticulous records of employee interactions, investigations, and resolutionsProduce regular reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and the outcomes of investigationsOther duties as assignedNORCAL Ambulance is the premier leader for medical transportation in Northern California.
