Human Resources GeneralistThe Human Resources Generalist provides broad HR support while serving as a steward of company culture and employee experience. This role delivers professional guidance and administration across multiple HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, HR compliance, employee records management, HRIS administration, reporting, benefits support, and training initiatives.The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, customer-service focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.HR Operations & Employee SupportProvide HR generalist support across multiple functional areasEnsure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR programsRespond to inquiries from: ApplicantsEmployeesGovernment agenciesExternal organizationsDeliver a high level of customer service and professionalismSupport and promote the company's desired culture and employee experienceRecruiting & StaffingAdminister hiring processes for hourly and non-exempt positionsPost job openings and review resumesConduct screening interviewsCoordinate pre-employment screening activitiesPrepare and send offer confirmations and post-acceptance documentationCoordinate with hiring managers throughout the recruiting processOnboarding & OrientationGuide employees through the onboarding processConduct new employee orientation sessionsEnsure new hires receive: Benefits informationCompany policiesRequired onboarding documentationDevelop, coordinate, and communicate orientation schedulesFollow up with new employees regarding onboarding questionsLead orientation programs for both direct hires and temporary agency employeesEvaluate and improve onboarding and orientation processes to enhance employee experienceHR Compliance & Records ManagementReview and audit I-9 forms to ensure accurate completion and complianceFollow up with hiring managers regarding missing or incomplete documentationMaintain accurate employee information within HRIS systemsAudit and maintain electronic and physical employee filesEnsure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policiesReporting & Data AnalysisCompile, analyze, and track key HR metrics and dataGenerate reports and provide recommendations based on findingsSupport HR decision-making through data analysis and reportingRequired QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of relevant Human Resources experienceBachelor's degree requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and technical abilitiesSolid computer and HRIS system skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with onboarding, recruiting, HR compliance, and employee records managementPreferred QualificationsRelevant industry experienceSHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certificationAbility to obtain SHRM certification within one year of employmentKey SkillsHR generalist supportRecruiting and staffingEmployee onboarding and orientationHR compliance and I-9 administrationHRIS maintenance and auditingEmployee relations and customer serviceReporting and data analysisProcess improvementOrganizational and multitasking abilitiesCommunication and relationship buildingNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
