Human Resources GeneralistThe Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations and providing comprehensive human resources support across the organization. This role focuses on employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, onboarding, and HR policy implementation while promoting a positive and productive workplace culture.
Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations:Serve as a primary point of contact for employees' questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefitsAssist with resolving employee concerns and workplace issues in a professional and confidential mannerSupport employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiativesPromote a positive and inclusive work environmentOnboarding & Employee Support:Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processesMaintain employee personnel files and HR documentation within ADP Workforce NowEnsure completion of required onboarding paperwork and compliance documentsBenefits & Payroll:Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questionsCoordinate and process payroll for 50 plus employees' while ensuring accurate employee information, timekeeping records, and system updates within ADPSupport leave administration including FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and other leave programsCompliance & HR Administration:Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsMaintain accurate HR records, reports, and employee data within HRIS systemsGenerate reports and support audits using ADP Workforce NowAssist with policy development, implementation, and employee handbook updatesPerformance Management & Training:Assist managers with performance review processes and employee development planningCoordinate employee training and professional development programsTrack required certifications, trainings, and compliance requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred3–7 years of HR experience preferredExperience using ADP Workforce Now Required2 years of Payroll experience RequiredKnowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionallyProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and use office equipment for extended periodsOccasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be requiredWork EnvironmentOffice work environment depending on company needsStandard business hours with occasional additional hours as needed
