We are currently looking for a HR Generalist to support our office in Columbia, MD. The duties of this role will be as follows, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding for all new hires, including new-hire documentation, drug and background screenings, orientation, and benefits enrollment support
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee and HR related records
- Prepare and maintain HR reports and forms
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and other HR programs, escalating complex matters as appropriate
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Two or more years of experience in an HR role
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, Bilingual (spanish) a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Aptitude to handle confidential information discreetly
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems; experience with payroll, benefits, or applicant-tracking systems is preferred
