Human Resources Generalist - BilingualThe Human Resources Generalist will provide HR support to a manufacturing site and its respective leadership team. The incumbent's daily work will include ensuring our ability to attract, retain, and develop our workforce through community and employee engagement. S/he will also monitor and ensure processes and practices ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance with all Novolex HR policies and procedures.This position normally reports to a Human Resources Manager and will partner with colleagues at other sites and across our centers of excellence such as talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partner – Participates in the daily management of the site aligning functional strategies, projects, and initiatives to deliver business solutions; coaches and develops frontline leadersEngagement – Owns employee engagement for their respective site, to include regular, effective communications, recognition, and rewards at all levels; organizes community and local eventsTalent Acquisition – Leads full-cycle recruiting process for all hourly requisitions; partners with leaders to develop and deliver onboarding, immersion, and training for new hiresTalent Management – Assists with talent management for the site including annual performance and talent reviews, workforce planning, development plans, learning & development opportunities, etc.Company Culture – Advises and provides guidance to frontline leaders regarding talent, organizational effectiveness, change management, and culture to align to Novolex's core values and strategic initiativesOperational Execution – Performs routine tasks employed with employee relations such as investigations and exit interviews; audits files, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to defined standardsAnalytics – Regularly maintains dashboards and performs analytics to identify root cause and suggest appropriate countermeasures impacting performance for all People-related metricsCompliance – Ensures compliance with and adherence to all local, state, and federal laws for all aspects of human resources management; stays current on trends related to human resourcesCritical Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferredBilingual – Spanish required2+ years HR business partner experience; manufacturing or distribution experience preferredPHR or SHRM-CP certifications or local equivalent preferredExperience with HRIS, Payroll, and Applicant Tracking systemsExperience driving action plans to deliver desired outcomesAbility to effectively coach, communicate, and influence frontline leaders and team membersAbility to travel less than 5% within the United StatesA reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000-$85,000 + bonus + benefits.
