We are representing a globally recognized Fortune 500 manufacturing organization actively seeking an HR Generalist to support onboarding and broader HR functions at their facility. This role will play a key part in new hire assimilation, employee relations, and HR process improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position Overview
- Serves as a point of contact for new hires (0-180 days) to gather feedback and support successful assimilation into the organization
- Assesses effectiveness of new hire orientation and onboarding processes
- Supports various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy development
- Answers employee HR-related questions, providing accurate and timely guidance
- Maintains employee records and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Contributes to development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Supports change management, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
- Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 1+ year of experience in HR onboarding or recruiting
- Ability to work across multiple shifts
- PHR certification a plus
- Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills; comfortable connecting at all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with HR practices, policies, and regulations
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
