Human Resources Director

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly credible Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve the people function within a fast-paced, creative organization. This role will serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership and department heads, overseeing the full employee lifecycle while driving scalable, best-in-class HR practices.

This is a highly visible leadership position requiring strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to operate confidently in high-profile, high-pressure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years managing and developing teams.
• Experience in creative, entertainment, media, or similarly dynamic industries strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading a full-scope HR function as a true generalist (not limited to a single vertical).
• Deep experience managing benefits renewals, broker relationships, and insurer negotiations.
• Strong background in navigating high-profile, high-sensitivity employee and public-facing situations.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and manage strong personalities.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and modern people systems.
• Exceptional communication, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills. High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong business acumen.
