Human Resources CoordinatorWe are seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with human resources coordination activities and administrative functions in one or more of the following assigned specialization areas: recruiting, university relations, training, benefits, health/wellness, systems, and compensation.Essential Functions:Assist with various administrative dutiesAssist with planning and execution of company eventsApply Human Resources knowledgeComply with company and departmental policies and guidelinesLearn and understand established processes and complete well defined tasks and projectsWork collaboratively in a team environment to effectively utilize resources and assist team membersLeverage constructive criticism to enhance performance of essential functionsProvide excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customersCommunicate status of work clearly and accurately, providing visibilityCoordinate all aspects of interview scheduling and handle aspects of travel coordination for candidatesWork closely with recruiters and hiring managers to provide candidate with information and communicate interview and schedule details for each candidateAssist with screening candidates, processing applications, scanning and attaching candidate information in Garmin's candidate tracking systemMaintain and update job postings internally and externally as requested by the recruitersAssist recruiters and recruitment managers with other miscellaneous recruitment tasks as requestedMaintain appropriate quantities of recruitment related materials and suppliesHelp conduct trainings as neededReconcile expense and expense tracking as neededBasic Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field AND a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceMust be proficient with using Outlook for calendaring workMust have proven experience dealing with confidential mattersMust demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrates an understanding of EEO and OFCCP regulationsDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsMust be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environmentDemonstrates a sense of urgency and commitment in performing essential functions with high quality results in a timely fashionDemonstrates commitment to providing excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customersConsistently maintains professional demeanor and appearanceMust be team oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with othersAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasksMust be detail orientedDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or a related fieldPrior experience supporting HRExperience with front-facing administrative workUsing Excel for data trackingGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
