Human Resources CoordinatorSalary: $23.00/hrThe offered wage is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.Position OverviewReporting into the in-store HR Assistant Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing support for HR functions including but not limited to talent acquisition, payroll, timecard enforcement and maintenance of personnel files.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Area Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Assistant Manager on employee relations issues and staffing objectivesProcess various reports and focus on the administrative tasks associated with HR recording, policy and procedureProcess liaison for employee relations questions and concerns, leaves of absence, paid time off, workers compensation, etc.Assist with interviews, investigations, disciplinary actions, and provides HR support at the store levelCollaborates with other functional groups including store managers, human resources, training and payrollSupports in recruiting for the store by developing and maintaining professional relationships with external sources to generate applicant flow including learning institutions, government agencies, independent organizations including nonprofit agencies, and other employment sourcesUtilizes recruiting tools and employs talent acquisition strategies to source external candidates by conducting on-site recruiting events, holding job fairs, and shopping the competition to find potential talentFollow up and track all aspects of employment, such as completing employment forms, conducting orientations and notifying the department of new hire start dateAssist with all recruitment efforts including setting up and participating in on-site and external job fairsSupport in the posting and updating of open positions on internal and external job boardsAssist with special projects as assigned by managementQualificationsHigh School Diploma (Bachelors Degree preferred)Minimum of one year Human Resources administration or similar administrative experience.Experience in retail preferredStrong PC knowledge which include MS Excel, WordExcellent Customer Service skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of HR policies and practices, employment law, recruitment and employment practices, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and guidelinesAbility to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekendsTravel may be required (10-25%)BenefitsThe Company provides:Career advancement opportunities for driven team members who consistently deliver strong results.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & ADD, Short and Long Term Disability15 days of paid vacation/personal leave and 9 days of sick leave per calendar year, pro-rated based on hire date;8 days of paid holidays and 1.5 times the employee's regular rate for all hours worked on stated holidays401K (with employer matching); andBonus, if eligible; and profit sharing, if eligible.The Company is committed to equal pay initiatives and will not ask candidates for their current or past salary.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Fast Retailing does not discriminate against applicants or employees because of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, veteran status, disability, age, citizenship, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or because of any other status or condition protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
