Key Responsibilities For The Human Resources Business Partner
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and talent development matters
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, retention strategies, and organizational effectiveness
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle initiatives
- Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while supporting HR programs and policies
Qualifications For The Human Resources Business Partner
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or similar role
- Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices
- Working knowledge of Michigan and federal employment laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
