Human Resources AssistantAt Living Well Disability Services, we transform the lives of people impacted by disabilities through the delivery of exceptional services. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support special projects and day-to-day operations within our Human Resources team. This position is primarily in-person at our office in Mendota Heights, MN.This role will focus primarily on administrative and operational support for the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities include file organization, data entry, auditing records, assisting with employee support requests, supporting employee change processes, and contributing to a variety of HR-related projects and daily tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and organized electronic and paper employee records in accordance with organizational policies and confidentiality requirements.Complete data entry, record audits, file clean-up, and other administrative projects to support accurate employee information.Process employee changes and updates in HR systems, including ADP and MITC.Administer and maintain I-9, Background Study, and Driver Eligibility processes in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Run, review, and distribute HR reports and assist with data tracking and reporting needs.Respond to routine employee questions and requests, providing assistance or directing inquiries to the appropriate HR team member.Support onboarding and orientation activities, including scheduling, materials preparation, logistics, and related administrative tasks.Provide administrative support for recruitment, training, payroll processing, and other HR functions as needed.Assist with HR projects, process improvements, audits, and other departmental initiatives.Coordinate routine administrative needs for the HR department, including ordering lunches and supporting meetings and events.Communicate professionally and effectively with employees and team members across the organization.Perform other duties and provide additional support to the Human Resources team as assigned.Qualifications & SkillsSelf-motivated, dependable, and service-orientedComfortable working independently and collaborativelyHighly organized with strong follow-through skillsAble to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretionDetail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skillsFlexible and able to reprioritize tasks throughout the dayAn effective written and verbal communicator who can interact professionally with all levels of the organizationPreferred ExperienceExperience with HRIS systems or data entry platforms preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and ExcelMinimum of one year of HR experience preferredEducationHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in a related field or bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferredWork Schedule & LocationThe position is primarily in-person, with an expectation of working from our Mendota Heights, MN office at least four days per week during regular business hours, generally between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Remote work may be available based on department needs, provided consistent communication and routines are established.
