Human Resources AssistantA growing healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day people operations, including recruiting, onboarding, HRIS/ATS administration, benefits coordination, reporting, compliance, and employee engagement.This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, comfortable working with confidential information, and interested in growing within the human resources field.Key ResponsibilitiesPost job openings and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managersSupport onboarding by launching tasks, tracking completion, and maintaining accurate new-hire filesServe as a primary administrator for Paylocity and assist with HRIS/ATS updatesMaintain employee records, self-service portals, and HR documentationProvide basic HRIS support to employees and managersAssist with payroll batches, employee data changes, and record updates as neededEnroll new hires in benefit plans and process qualifying life eventsReview monthly insurance invoices and help resolve discrepancies with vendors or benefits administratorsTrack training completions, anniversaries, assessments, key control logs, and other HR metricsBuild HR reports, charts, and process maps to support leadership and review cyclesCoordinate trainings, staff meetings, and employee events, including rooms, materials, A/V, and cateringPrepare and deliver quarterly HR updates and presentationsSupport compliance with HR policies, procedures, privacy standards, and documentation requirementsMaintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive informationRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience in human resources, HRIS, business administration, or a related administrative role preferredActive HIPAA compliance credential / TrainingStrong Excel, reporting, data entry, and documentation skillsExperience working with HRIS, ATS, or payroll platformsAbility to write clear policies, procedures, reports, and employee communicationsStrong communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skillsHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining confidentialityWhy This RoleThis position offers broad, hands-on exposure across recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, benefits, reporting, compliance, and employee engagement.
