HR AssistantSalary: $ / hourThe offered wage is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.Position Overview:Reporting to the Store Managers and HR Coordinator, the HR Assistant will be responsible for providing support for HR functions including but not limited to payroll, timecard enforcement and maintenance of personnel files.This role will be physically based out of our upcoming Providence Place store location, but may support other stores in the market as needed.Key Responsibilities:Supports recruiting for the store by developing and maintaining professional relationships with external sources to generate applicant flow including learning institutions, government agencies, independent organizations (including nonprofit agencies, and other employment sourcesUtilizes recruiting tools and employs talent acquisition strategies to source external candidates by conducting on-site recruiting events, holding job fairs, and shopping the competition to find potential talentSupports in the posting and updating of open positions on internal and external job boardsProcesses various reports and focuses on the administrative tasks associated with HR reporting, policy and procedureProcess liaison for employee relations questions and concerns, leaves of absence, paid time off, workers compensation, etc.Collaborates with other functional groups including store managers, human resources, training, and payrollFollows up with and tracks all aspects of employment, such as completing employment forms, conducting orientations, and notifying departments of new hire starting datesAssists with special projects as assigned by managementQualifications:Bachelor's Degree preferred1-2 years of human resources administration or related experienceExperience in retail preferredStrong MS Office proficiencyExperience with applicant tracking systems and Human Resources systems (Workday strongly preferred)Excellent Customer Service skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of HR policies and practices, employment law, recruitment and employment practices, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and guidelinesAbility to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekendsFull-Time Requirements:Average 32 or more hours per week based on business seasonality (Peak season: September - December).Full-time employees are permitted only two (2) days off per week.Both days off must be within the same workweek (Monday – Sunday).All full-time employees must be available for a minimum of a 5-day workweek.Full-Time Benefits:We offer competitive compensation for Human Resources Assistant starting at $19.00 along with a clear path to promotion opportunities every 3 months based on individual performance!Career advancement opportunities for driven team members who consistently deliver strong results.401k - 100% of the first 3% you contribute, then an additional 50% on the next 2% you contribute.30% Employee DiscountEmployees Assistance ProgramCommuter BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision CoverageLife InsuranceShort-Term & Long-Term Disability InsuranceHSA/FSAPaid Time OffSick & Wellness Time Off… and many more!The Company is committed to equal pay initiatives and will not ask candidates for their current or past salary.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Fast Retailing does not discriminate against applicants or employees because of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, veteran status, disability, age, citizenship, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or because of any other status or condition protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
