Human Resources AssistantThe HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department by providing day-to-day coordination and administrative support across hiring, onboarding, employee check-ins, engagement activities, and HR documentation. This role helps ensure a positive candidate and employee experience by supporting scheduling, communication, meeting documentation, and organized recordkeeping. The HR Assistant is trusted with confidential information and contributes to a professional, timely, and welcoming HR function for the VPI team.Key Responsibilities:Recruiting, Onboarding, and Offboarding SupportAssist with job postings, applicant tracking, and candidate communicationSchedule and coordinate phone calls, interviews, and onboarding activitiesSupport pre employment steps and track completion of required itemsCoordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics, including checklists, documentation, and follow upMaintain organized recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding filesEmployee Check Ins, Meetings, and Follow UpSchedule employee check ins (30, 60, 90 day and other follow ups as assigned) and HR meetingsPrepare check in materials and attend meetings as needed to document notesType, organize, and store meeting notes and check in documentationTrack action items and follow up items from meetings and check ins and support next stepsRespond to follow up calls and requests and route items appropriatelyEmployee Engagement, Events, and Culture SupportAssist with employee engagement activities, recognition, and team building effortsSupport planning, logistics, and communication for company events and HR initiativesContribute ideas and support efforts to improve employee morale and workplace cultureScheduling, Records, and Administrative SupportManage HR calendars and scheduling for interviews, meetings, check ins, and employee conversationsMaintain organized HR and employee files while ensuring confidentialitySupport improvements to HR documentation, templates, tracking tools, and filing systemsOther Duties as AssignedProvide additional HR support as needed based on department and business needsQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent1 year of experience in an administrative, HR, recruiting coordination, or customer support roleStrong communication skills with the ability to write clear and professional notes and follow up messagesStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow throughAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriatelyProficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)PreferredExperience supporting recruiting coordination, onboarding, or employee engagement activitiesFamiliarity with HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred)Physical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed for event supplies or office materialsAbility to use a computer for extended periods of timeBenefitsCOMPANY-PAID health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with employer matchRTD EcoPass for public transportationOpportunities for professional growth and developmentEqual Opportunity Employer: VPI Compounding Pharmacy is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
