We are passionate about our company, people, and culture and would like you to join us.The Human Resources & Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office while managing comprehensive human resources functions to support organizational effectiveness. This role includes recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance support, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Additionally, coordinates office systems, vendor relationships, and administrative processes to maintain an efficient and organized workplace. Serves as a key point of contact for employees, fostering a positive work environment, supporting leadership, and aligning people operations with overall business goals.Essential FunctionsOversee daily office operations to ensure an efficient, organized, and well-functioning workplaceManage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring coordinationCoordinate and lead new hire onboarding and orientation processes – including complexities of seasonal part time employees (caterers & bartenders)Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for benefit-related inquiriesMaintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsSupport employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environmentDevelop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materialsManage and process payrollMonitor and support performance management processes, including reviews and corrective actionsManage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentationCoordinate office logistics, including supplies, equipment, facilities, and vendor relationshipsOversee office budget tracking, purchasing, and expense managementServe as a liaison between leadership and staff, supporting internal communication and organizational initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve administrative and HR processes for greater efficiency and effectivenessManage office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, space planning, and safety complianceSupervise front office functions such as reception, phone coverage, and visitor managementCoordinate technology and equipment needs in partnership with IT support or external providersMaintain office security protocols, including access control, badges, and emergency proceduresSupport executive leadership with calendar coordination, meeting preparation, and administrative tasks as neededAct as the primary point of contact for all office-related inquiries and issue resolutionImplement and manage internal communication tools and office systemsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree is HR, BA, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred2-5+ years of experience in human resources, office management, or administrative operationsWorking knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practicesADP TotalSource experience is heavily encouraged (HRIS + Payroll Processing)Experience with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee relationsProficiency in MS Office SuiteStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organizationAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalismDemonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience managing vendors, office budgets, or administrative processesAdditional Notes:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (frequent)Periods of standing and walking (infrequent)Able to lift 20+ pounds (infrequent)Compensation: DOQ - $50,000-$60,000 annuallyBenefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, with benefits including Health & Welfare, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Life, Accident and Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Time Off, additional Incentives and Rewards for employees, and a strong company culture.Department: AdministrationJob Status: Fulltime - SalarySchedule: This is a full-time position, standard 9am-5pm.
