Ideal candidates will have at least one year of human resources or administrative experience in a fast-paced construction, trades, or manufacturing environment and who are seeking a career in the field of Human Resources.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains employee personnel filesPerforms accurate data entry into the HRIS and other systems and spreadsheetsAssists with benefits administrationAssists with internal HR data auditsAssists with recruitment and onboardingGenerates reports from HRIS as neededMaintains adequate levels of office suppliesGreets visitors; issues and retrieves temporary badgesCopies, collates, and compiles information as requestedAssists with organization of NAMS merchandiseOther administrative duties and projects as assignedRequirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma; AA degree in HR or Business preferred, or pursuing a degreeRequires a minimum of 1 year of relevant HR admin experienceExperience working for a construction or trades-services company a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and other computer applications including HRIS; BambooHR experience a plusFriendly demeanor with a customer-service mindsetPossesses strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with integrityHigh degree of attention to detailAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksExcellent communication and people skillsPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerUse of both handsRequires ability to walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, bend, push, pull, lift, and reachMust have vision, hearing, and ability to talkMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds at timesNorth American Millwright Services Inc is an equal opportunity employer
