Responsibilities:
- Provide operational guidance on nuclear human factors engineering related to operations, maintenance, and testing activities.
- Develop human-system interfaces, procedures, and training programs.
- Support the development of operational procedures, alarm response, and operator training programs.
- Review, test, and validate human-system interfaces using simulators and plant procedures.
- Incorporate design requirements into analyses and documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and respond to corrective actions.
- Deliver engineering documentation in compliance with requirements and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Reactor Operator (RO) license and Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification.
- Minimum 5 years as a reactor operator and 2 years in human factors.
- M.S. Degree in Engineering or HFE-related discipline or equivalent.
- Experience with procedure writing, training, surveillance tests, NRC and INPO guidelines, and regulatory reviews.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- PPA Procedure Writer’s Certification.
