Human Factors Engineer 3/4 – Huntsville, Alabama

Responsible for applying human performance principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of human‑machine systems and products. Interface with design engineers to establish system design, operating, and training requirements and ensure optimized human‑machine interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate content and conduct of customer demonstrations of BSW Program and software
  • Ensure coordination with Program Management, Leads, and technical team members
  • Plan demonstration storyboard, agenda, win theme, success criteria
  • Design, review and brief presentations to program leadership and prospective customers
  • Coordinate development goals, fixes, need dates, code complete milestones
  • Prepare, review, integrate and test demonstration products developed by software and SE teams
  • Request defect correction, integrate hotfixes
  • Manage logistics including facilities, infrastructure, hardware
  • Identify, manage and communicate risks

Basic Qualifications

  • Level 3 : Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience, OR Master of Science and 3 years, OR STEM Ph.D. and 1 year.
  • Level 4 : Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience, OR Master of Science and 6 years, OR STEM Ph.D. and 4 years.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience demonstrating concepts to management and customers.
  • Experience with Visualization Tools.
  • Experience with software development: C++, Python, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with model‑based systems engineering products and/or Mission Engineering (e.g., Cameo Suite) and Agile framework (e.g., Jira/Confluence).
  • Proficient with MS Office Tools (PPT, Doc, etc.).
  • Current or active DoD government Secret clearance to start.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Modeling and Simulation.

Network Engineer (26‑197) – Colorado Springs, CO

Primary role is to support the C2BMC Program as a Network Engineer and Developer, building and deploying network infrastructure for missile defense operations. The position is on‑site with no remote options.

Essential Functions

  • 1+ year related experience; may hold a post‑secondary degree or related training.
  • Proven network engineer with mid‑level experience and knowledge of network design, development, and testing.
  • Experience presenting with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team and independently on large field projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher.
  • Current, active DoD‑issued Secret security clearance.
  • Industry vendor certifications: JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE (required).
  • Experience with authentication and encryption methods (TACACS+, Active Directory, GEM‑X) and virtualization technologies (VMware, vCenter, vSphere).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (Python, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Hands‑on experience with WAN optimizers, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • C2BMC network experience desired.
  • Knowledge of protocol analyzers/sniffers (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with virtualization highly desired.
  • Agile development and related test methodologies.
  • Handling large data sets and using spreadsheet analysis.
  • Skills in developing action plans from data analysis and presenting results.
  • Solid understanding of JUNOS preferred.
