About the Role:
nThis HSE Supervisor is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. We are looking for a HSE Supervisor to join and strengthen our PJM site-level team. This role will support the management of EHS (Health, Safety and Environmental) programs relative to a major international Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical account in West Point, Pennsylvania.
nThis is a hands-on, site-based HSE role suited to someone from a construction background, ideally with experience supporting manufacturing sites in highly regulated environments.

nWhat You'll Do:

Assist in managing HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and client needs.

Promotes visible leadership and astrong culture of safety, health, and wellbeing across the PJM team,contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Work closely with the site PJM team toensure site-specific contractor plans, project safety requirements, and theappropriate hierarchy of controls are embedded into project execution.

Assists the project management teamwith contractor safety oversight to ensure compliance with all clientrequirements and applicable regulations. Focuses on the development ofJSAs/JHAs, preparation of required project documentation, hazard identification,and review of high-risk permit activities, including fall protection, LOTO,excavations, line breaking, and crane and rigging operations.

Support contractor pre-qualification,onboarding, planning, and ongoing performance monitoring from an HSEperspective.

Support contractor compliance to policy and safetyrequirements through daily field audits of active jobsites.

Assists in leading EHS programs and initiatives tomeet regulatory requirements and the specific needs of the client account.

Support accident, incident, near-missreporting, recording, and investigation in line with company and clientprocedures.

Coach and support the PJM team andother stakeholders in the use of HSE tools, processes, and techniques, ensuringthey understand and fulfil their HSE responsibilities.

What You'll Need:

High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
n n - n
Experience in construction safety is a plus
n n - n
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) are nice to have but not required.

Working knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, andenvironmental regulations is essential. Direct experience dealing withcontractor management, regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers ispreferred.

A demonstrated passion for HSE and an ability to rolemodel the expected behaviors.

Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or facilitymaintenance needed.

Must have experience in management of contractors, oversight ofpermitting related to high-risk work and fall protection plans, policies &safety procedures.

Must have proficiency in conducting audits, inspections, and incidentinvestigations.

Experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples includeWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.
