Ledcor Technical Services has been building and servicing communication networks across North America since 1979. As the HS&E Advisor, you lead the application of professional Health, Safety and Environment practices at your assigned workspace or project site, providing expert advice and recommendations to operations teams and clients.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct hazard assessments, inspections and focus audits, report findings, and verify corrective actions.
  • Provide on‑site guidance to operations management on implementing company HS&E programs and address issues related to emergency response, performance metrics, and safety systems.
  • Mentor and guide HSE Coordinators and Advisors, helping them navigate safety processes and improve effectiveness.
  • Assess the effectiveness of corrective actions from incidents, inspections, and audits; analyze safety data to recommend improvements.
  • Lead complex incident investigations, identify root causes, and train operations teams on investigation processes and best practices.
  • Support supervisors in managing occupational injuries and illnesses, including monitoring return‑to‑work processes and implementing preventive measures.

Qualifications

  • One or more years of practical experience as an HSE professional—telecommunications experience is preferred.
  • Formal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) education is an asset.
  • Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to communicate persuasively and influence stakeholders across all levels of project hierarchy.
  • Ability to pass all pre‑access requirements, including a clean driver’s abstract, drug screen and breathalyzer.

Work Conditions

  • Hybrid role with work‑from‑home flexibility and travel to Ledcor offices and project sites.
  • Travel required up to 50%–75% between various Ledcor offices and project sites.
