Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $113,000.00
The Role Interfaces between systems analysts/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization. Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out. Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program. A senior level HRIS Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, and other workforce systems. This role supports HR processes by maintaining system integrity, enhancing functionality, and partnering with HR and IT stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable solutions. The position ensures seamless integration across HR systems, accurate data flow, and a high-quality end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities SAP SuccessFactors Administration & Configuration Configure and maintain modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, and Learning. Manage Business Rules, Admin Center settings, Permission Roles, MDF Objects, workflows, and SuccessFactors data models. Support semi-annual releases through regression testing, configuration validation, and stakeholder communication. Build and maintain advanced SuccessFactors reporting, including Canvas, Story, and Ad Hoc reports to assist with data accuracy. Be attuned to industry trends facing HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and other HR Stakeholders. General HRIS Administration Responsibilities Maintain strong data integrity through audits, validations, and automated quality controls. Support system upgrades, patching, regression testing, and change management activities. Document configuration, process flows, and standard operating procedures. Provide tier-2/3 support, troubleshoot issues, and engage vendors or IT on complex technical concerns. Manage user security roles Partner with HR, Payroll, and business leaders to assess needs and implement strategic system enhancements.
Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications: NNS Apprentice School graduate Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Nice to Have Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements (e.g., payroll, time & attendance, recruiting, learning). Demonstrated expertise in system configuration. Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Integration Center, APIs, Boomi, SAP CPI, or similar middleware solutions (not development). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and testing skills. Ability to document requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Familiarity with SAP Security, role-based permissions, and audit requirements. Experience supporting large-scale HR technology implementations or optimizations. Familiarity with data migration concepts or participation in transitions between HRIS platforms (for example, Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG, or similar enterprise systems).
