HRIS Developer (Remote)Our client is a leading provider of HR software in the region.Role DescriptionThe Senior HRIS Developer is responsible for the design, development, configuration, and ongoing support of the organizations Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Technology, and Security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient HR technology solutions that support business operations and compliance requirements across regions.Key ResponsibilitiesHRIS Development & ConfigurationLead system upgrades, patches, and new module implementationsEnsure data integrity, system performance, availability, and application-level security controlsIntegration & Data ManagementDevelop and maintain integrations between HRIS and payroll, finance, and third-party systemsManage data migrations, validations, reconciliations, and ongoing data qualityCreate and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business and compliance needsTechnology & System Security (Product Environment)Design and build HRIS applications to operate within a secure technology and hosting environment (e.g. cloud or hosted platforms used for the system being developed)Work closely with platform, cloud, or product security teams to ensure the system environment includes:Firewall protection at all network ingress and egress pointsSecure network architecture for system integrations and data flowsEndpoint protection controls such as anti-malware and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) where applicable to the system environmentData Loss Prevention (DLP) controls to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration while data is in use, in motion, and at restEnsure the HRIS application complies with platform-level security controls and secure coding standardsSupport penetration testing and vulnerability scanning activities conducted for the system by:Preparing environmentsResponding to findingsImplementing and validating remediation for application-level vulnerabilitiesMaintain documentation related to system security design, controls, and remediation activitiesCollaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsAct as a subject matter expert for HR systems and HR technology processesProvide guidance and mentoring to junior HRIS developers or analystsTesting, Support & GovernanceLead system testing activities, including unit testing, UAT, and deploymentTroubleshoot complex system issues and provide advanced production supportEnsure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal governance standardsIdentify opportunities to automate, standardize, and optimize HR processesRecommend best practices and emerging HR technology solutionsQualifications & ExperienceExperience in HRIS development or administrationStrong experience with HRIS platforms (e.g.

Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar)Hands-on experience with system integrations, APIs, reporting tools, and data management
