The posted compensation range of $36.00 - $53.08 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As a Benefits Administration Health and Welfare Sr. Analyst, you will support the overall service delivery related activities for the People Connections Benefits Administration Health and Welfare work stream for the 2nd largest non-profit health system in the US. This role primarily supports employee benefits administration for our physician medical groups in California and will assist with the benefit administration for our more than 150k employees and 25k providers in 21 states.

This position will work collaboratively with the Benefits Administration team, the Benefits COE, other internal partners, and medical group leadership to lead and work within cross-functional teams in all aspects of the benefits administration processes. This work includes process and benefit implementation, production support, employee inquiries, day-to-day support, project management (such as Annual Benefit Enrollment), analysis, operational support, benefit compliance, and vendor management.

To be successful, you'll combine strong analytical skills with HR principles knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly, transforming HR information into strategic value.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefit-related customer service and support, addressing issues from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and troubleshoot data movement between various internal systems and external vendors, particularly for HRIS/ERP and leave of absence applications.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues within benefits administration, collaborating with vendors and internal teams for solutions and escalating when necessary.
  • Lead and implement changes related to new organizational initiatives or process enhancements, including developing test plans and documenting changes.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and documentation for new processes or benefit changes, ensuring clear communication to all relevant parties.
  • Ensure data integrity by auditing information exchanged with vendors and actively resolving discrepancies.

Required

  • Bachelors Other or equivalent experience, upon hire and
  • HR Systems support and testing experience and
  • Experience utilizing advanced functions within Excel for data validation and auditing and
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting business processes within an HR Operations team and

Preferred

  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience related to implementing and administering employee Health and Welfare plans
  • Healthcare experience and
  • Previous experience with Lawson or Infor
