HR SpecialistThe HR Specialist will be a trusted partner to the Human Resources team and is responsible for supporting regional, multi-state HR administration, including onboarding, employee status changes, integrations, background checks, and offboarding. This role also partners with HR leadership to ensure compliance with employment regulations, maintain accurate employee data, and support a positive employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to develop into broader HR functional areas.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess HR transactions accurately and timely, supporting the overall employee experienceCollaborate with managers and internal stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate employee data within the HRISMaintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company requirementsProcess employee status changes, employment verifications, and unemployment claimsSupport recruiting and onboarding activities, including background checks, I-9s, E-Verify, and new hire setup within the HRISMonitor onboarding progress and communicate updates to new hires and hiring managersMaintain the accuracy and integrity of employee data through regular audits and data reconciliationAssist with HR system updates, reporting, and ongoing maintenanceSupport organizational integrations by reviewing and importing employee data while coordinating onboarding communicationsPartner with cross-functional teams to complete HR initiatives and improve processesAssist with documenting and updating standard operating proceduresRespond to HR-related questions from employees and internal stakeholdersMaintain strict confidentiality of employee information and proactively resolve data discrepanciesAssist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field2+ years of Human Resources or administrative experienceStrong customer service orientationExperience maintaining compliance while meeting deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong attention to detail and highly organizedExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skillsExperience with an HRIS platform; Paycor experience is a plusAbility to analyze and communicate information effectively across all levels of the organization
