Must have heavy analytics/excel experience.Role Summary/Purpose: The Synchrony HR team is seeking a temporary Talent Strategy Data Analyst that will support the Talent COE in managing and analyzing employee engagement data to provide insights that inform HR strategies and maintain Synchrony's positive workplace culture. This role involves data entry, data trend identification, responding to ad hoc data requests and ensuring data integrity.Essential Responsibilities:Develop a deep understanding of employee engagement tools and resourcesEnter, maintain and validate employee engagement dataAnalyze data to identify trends and potential risk areas associated with employee engagement surveys and assessmentsAbility to benchmark internal data against industry standardsRespond to internal data requests from Synchrony clientsSupport VP, Talent Strategy to present data findings clearly and effectively to Synchrony clients (various levels of the organization) as neededPotential to collaborate with third party vendorsOverall accountability for data integrity, compliance with corporate and local personal data privacy regulations, and system auditsProvide analytical support for employee engagement initiatives and strategy developmentProvide data entry, analytical support, and system audits for Performance Management processesPerform other duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on HR analyticsRequired skill(s): ExcelDesired Characteristics:Demonstrated strength in compiling, analyzing and presenting dataAnalytical mindset and strong ability to interpret data and uncover meaningful insightsDetail-oriented and meticulous with data accuracy, entry and analysisAdvanced Excel and analytical tool proficiencyOutstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator with strong interpersonal and listening skillsProactive and self-directed with ability to manage/complete multiple projects with competing deadlines
