Talent Strategy Data Analyst
Duration: 9-12 months w/ possible extensions Location: remote US, EST working hours. Local to Stamford, CT would be ideal/desired to be in office occasionally. Bill rate: $60-$67/hr Must have skills: 3+ years direct experience w/ HR Analytics. This is NOT a HR Generalist/Manager position. Must have heavy analytics/excel experience.
Role Summary/Purpose: The Synchrony HR team is seeking a temporary Talent Strategy Data Analyst that will support the Talent COE in managing and analyzing employee engagement data to provide insights that inform HR strategies and maintain Synchrony's positive workplace culture. This role involves data entry, data trend identification, responding to ad hoc data requests and ensuring data integrity.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of employee engagement tools and resources
- Enter, maintain and validate employee engagement data
- Analyze data to identify trends and potential risk areas associated with employee engagement surveys and assessments
- Ability to benchmark internal data against industry standards
- Respond to internal data requests from Synchrony clients
- Support VP, Talent Strategy to present data findings clearly and effectively to Synchrony clients (various levels of the organization) as needed
- Potential to collaborate with third party vendors
- Overall accountability for data integrity, compliance with corporate and local personal data privacy regulations, and system audits
- Provide analytical support for employee engagement initiatives and strategy development
- Provide data entry, analytical support, and system audits for Performance Management processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on HR analytics
- Required skill(s): Excel
