Position Summary

TheHumanResourcesManagerisresponsibleforleadingallHRfunctionsforamanufacturingfacility,servingasastrategicbusinesspartnertoplantleadershipwhileensuringcompliancewithfederal,state,andlocalemploymentlaws.Thisroleoverseesemployeerelations,recruiting,onboarding,performancemanagement,training,compensation,benefitsadministration,andworkforceplanninginafast-pacedautomotivemanufacturingenvironment.

Key Responsibilities

• LeadallplantHRoperationsforhourlyandsalariedemployees.
• Partnerwithoperationsleadershiptosupportproductiongoalsandworkforceplanning.
• Managerecruitment,onboarding,orientation,andretentionprograms.
• Conductemployeeinvestigationsandresolveemployeerelationsissues.
• EnsurecompliancewithCalifornialaborlaws,wageandhourregulations,OSHArequirements,andcompanypolicies.
• Overseeleaveadministration,accommodations,workers'compensation,andunemploymentclaims.
• Supportperformancemanagement,correctiveaction,andemployeedevelopmentinitiatives.
• ManagetrainingprogramsandmaintainemployeerecordsandHRISsystems.
• Monitorturnover,absenteeism,staffinglevels,andotherHRmetrics.
• Leademployeeengagementandcultureinitiatives.
• Supportauditsandensurecompliancewithcompanyandcustomerrequirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegreeinHumanResources,BusinessAdministration,orrelatedfield.
• 5-10yearsofprogressiveHRexperience,preferablyinmanufacturing,automotive,logistics,orindustrialenvironments.
• StrongknowledgeofCaliforniaemploymentlaw.
• Experiencewithemployeerelations,investigations,andperformancemanagement.
• Experiencesupportinghourlyproductionworkforcesandmultipleshifts.
• KnowledgeofHRISsystemssuchasADP,Workday,orSAP.
• SHRM-CP,SHRM-SCP,PHR,orSPHRcertificationpreferred.
• Excellentcommunication,leadership,andconflict-resolutionskills.
