We're looking for a thoughtful, people-first HR Generalist to join Turnwell's growing team. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to clinicians, administrators, and leadership alike — supporting the full employee lifecycle and helping us build a workplace where people feel valued, safe, and set up to do their best work.
This is a hands-on generalist role with meaningful ownership across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and culture. Position: Hybrid/Remote (Nashville area based, if possible)
Own end-to-end recruiting for non-clinical and administrative roles — from sourcing to offer — with an emphasis on equitable, trauma-informed hiring practices Lead onboarding for new team members, ensuring every hire feels welcomed, informed, and ready from day one Serve as a first point of contact for employee relations concerns, navigating sensitive conversations with empathy and sound judgment Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and documentation in alignment with federal, state, and behavioral health regulations Support performance management processes including review cycles, PIPs, and manager coaching Track and report on key HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-fill, and engagement trends Coordinate training and professional development opportunities aligned with clinical licensing requirements Ensure compliance with credentialing, licensure tracking, and healthcare industry HR requirements
2+ years of HR generalist experience ?
Demonstrated skill in navigating employee relations with discretion
Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Paycom preferred)
