HR AssistantMaxxima is seeking an organized, detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department and help create an exceptional employee experience. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role provides hands-on experience across recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HR technology, employee engagement, and compliance.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in human resources while making a meaningful impact within a collaborative and employee-focused environment.This is a full-time onsite position based in Hauppauge, NY, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Limited travel to our Lake Park, FL location may be required on an as needed basis.Key Responsibilities:Support recruiting activities, including job postings, resume screening, phone screens, interview scheduling, and ATS maintenanceCoordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employment documentationMaintain knowledge of laws related to company policies and proceduresAssist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiriesSupport performance reviews, employee training, and compliance initiativesMaintain employee records and status changes in the HCM systemGenerate HRMS reports, analytics, workflows, and dashboards as neededResearch HR tech, trends, and best practices to enhance efficiencyCoordinate company events, employee programs, and HR projectsHandle confidential information with professionalism and discretionProvide clerical and administrative support to the HR departmentPerform additional HR duties as assignedRequirements:Associate's degree required.
