Human Resources AssistantThe Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the site's Human Resources Department and its functions, including employee/labor relations, recruiting, benefits, training, and maintaining employment records. Responsible for assisting in onboarding processes, filing, facilitating employee engagement activities and timely response to routine HR questions on company policy and procedures. This job will additionally provide administrative support to other departments at the location as needed.Job Location: This role is on-site based out of Dover, DE.Job Responsibilities:Answer, assist, and field employee questions as they relate to benefits, payroll, company policy, etc.Act as a liaison for employee communications and reach out to appropriate parties to answer any questionsComplete data entries and audits in WorkdayCoordinate new hire/temp interview scheduling and day one orientationsEnsure new hire onboarding is complete and accurateOrganize, prepare and maintain inventory for new hire orientation materials, welcome bags, folders, and onboarding packetsCreate employee communications/flyers & update company communication boardsMaintain employee activity calendars as they relate to wellness, activities, and employee engagementProcess mail, maintain employee files and perform all departmental filing activity including maintaining form I-9'sAssist employees in benefits enrollment processMaintain and update employee attendance tracker and partner with Supervisors to distribute attendance noticesMaintain job descriptionsCoordinate and complete training for hourly employeesEnsure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queriesPartner with other departments to provide administrative support for operational needsAssist the inventory team with physical inventory and cycle countsAll other duties assigned by management based on business needsJob Requirements:High School Diploma required, bachelor's degree in related field preferredKnowledge of principles and processes of human resources functionCertificate in HR administration a plusKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminologyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong computer skills with experience in Microsoft productsRequires at least 2 years of administrative experienceWhat CRH Offers You:Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRH:CRH has a long and proud heritage.
