HPC Storage Administrator

Managing and optimizing storage infrastructure, the full-time HPC Storage Administrator will design, configure, and maintain high-performance storage systems in a remote environment to ensure fast and reliable data access for large-scale computing needs. Key responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain high-performance storage systems, including parallel file systems, NAS, SAN, and object storage platforms Monitor storage performance and capacity, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies Ensure data security and compliance while collaborating with a team of engineers focused on high-speed storage and compute solutions Required qualifications 5+ years of experience with high-speed storage in an HPC environment, preferably with GPFS and large data backups Working knowledge of GPFS, preferably PixStor, and NFS Experience with RedHat administration Familiarity with Dell PowerVault storage
