nThe California Conditional Release Program is a statewide program which exclusively serves formerly incarcerated adults who are transitioning into the community.
nWith community safety as the top priority, the program seeks to support clients so they may live healthy and productive lives in the community.

Role description and impact
nAs a Housing Searcher, you will focus on identifying appropriate housing in the community for program clients.
nYou will play a key role in promoting community safety and helping to create a brighter future for people who seek to overcome the obstacles associated with past incarceration and hospitalization.

Researching rental housing markets

Creating lists of viable housing options for program clients

Evaluating housing options for alignment with client conditions of release

Developing relationships with landlords and property managers
n n - n
Collaborating with Liberty’s Housing Coordinator, Regional Coordinators and Case Workers
n n
Work setting and schedule
nThis is a remote first position which will allow you to primarily work from your home office in California and require you to occasionally travel to locations throughout the State as needed.
nYou will work on an as needed basis, approximately 15 hours weekly.

Experience successfully procuring housing for justice-involved individuals and/or people with mental illness

California residency
