Housing Assistance Specialist

Our client, is seeking a Housing Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Housing Specialist

Location: Fairmont, WV

Pay Range: $18.10 hr.

Shift: Monday-Thursday

What's the Job?

  Manage assigned participant caseloads from application through program completion.

  n

• n

  Conduct Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections to ensure compliance and safety.

  n

• n

  Determine applicant and participant eligibility for housing assistance programs.

  n
n
• n

  Calculate rent, income, and family contributions accurately.

  n
n
• n

  Process lease approvals and maintain detailed program documentation.

  n
n

What's Needed?

n
• n

  High school diploma or GED required.

  n
n
• n

  Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  n
n
• n

  Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.

  n
n
• n

  Valid West Virginia driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
