Housekeeping Worker
To provide housekeeping services and special floor care maintenance throughout campus facilities, and in support of university functions, to ensure a sanitary and safe environment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies and assigned keys.
Knowledge of general housekeeping cleaning and cleaning equipment. Ability to accomplish a physically challenging occupation. Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions and work related directions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and move 25 pounds. Ability to communicate and work in a team effort. Semi-skilled in the operation of housekeeping powered equipment. Must have expert customer service skills.
Ability to effectively read and write desired. Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping preferred. Valid driver's license desired.
Emergency Call-In & Essential Personnel. Not grant funded. Not restricted. Not eligible for telework. 40 hours per week. 12 months per year. Not required to submit a statement of economic interest. Non-Exempt. Classified Staff. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Overtime or weekends as required. Hsekeep &/or Apparel Workr I. FM Custodial. $31,200 - $31,200.
