Housekeeping Technician (Part-Time)

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and professional environment throughout the facility. This position supports daily operations by ensuring offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, restrooms, and common areas are consistently meeting company standards for cleanliness and appearance. The Housekeeping Technician plays an important role in supporting employee well-being, creating a positive workplace experience, and maintaining a facility that is welcoming to employees, visitors, customers, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, restrooms, reception areas, and other common spaces.

· Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform routine housekeeping tasks throughout the facility.

· Empty trash and recycling containers and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.

· Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies in restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of employee common areas.

· Monitor housekeeping supply levels and communicate replenishment needs to the Controller.

· Identify and report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns.

· Maintain workplace appearance standards to support a professional environment.

· Follow company safety procedures and proper handling requirements for cleaning products, chemicals and equipment.

· Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and utilize safe work practices while performing assigned duties.

· Maintain confidentiality while working in administrative and office areas.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Adhering to OSHA requirements and applicable federal, state, and local regulations

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience.

· Experience in an office, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

· Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly.

· Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and safely use cleaning products.

Location

This is an on-site position working within both office and manufacturing environments during normal business hours in Pendergrass, GA. The Housekeeping Technician will regularly interact with employees, and may occasionally interact with customers, visitors, and vendors while maintaining facility cleanliness and appearance standards.

Schedule: 3-5 Days per week Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p (up to 20 hours per week max)

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
