Housekeeper Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment in assigned areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dust and polish furniture, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the supervisor.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, and ironing (if applicable).
• Respect the privacy and personal belongings of clients or guests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move up to (insert weight, e.g., 25 lbs).
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.

Work Environment:

• May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Use of cleaning agents and equipment daily.
