Housekeeping Attendant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure, ensuring that all surfaces are properly sanitized and disinfected.
- Making beds with fresh linens and pillows.
- Replacing dirty linens and towels with clean ones.
- Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses etc.
- Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays from guest rooms and hallways.
- Picking up and returning laundry items to the laundry room.
- Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts with all necessary cleaning supplies.
- Notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances, old light bulbs, or any damage to the room.
- Upholding the hotel's confidentiality and security standards by not disclosing any guest information.
- Dusting and polishing various surfaces and furniture in guest rooms and public areas.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in guest rooms and public areas.
- Emptying trash bins and replacing trash liners as needed.
- Previous housekeeping experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
