Housekeeper PositionSaint Joseph's College of Maine invites applications for the position of full-time Housekeeper!Position Description: Supports the department of Housekeeping by providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility.Position Responsibilities:Cleaning and maintaining floors; shampoo carpetsSweeping walksDust and washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents, chalkboards, furniture, fixtures, and equipmentCleaning and disinfecting restroomsRemoving waste from all designated areasRestocking disposable itemsEducation and Experience:High School education is desirableA valid driver's license, ability to successfully complete a driver training program and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record is preferredSchedule:This is a full-time, non-exempt position of 40 hours per weekScheduling flexibility is required, as this position is essential personnel and may be required to work weekends, holidays and during college administrative closingsParticipates in the "on call" program.
