HousekeeperUnder the supervision of the Community Manager the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of vacant apartments, model apartment, leasing office, and common areas of the apartment community.Reports To Community ManagerPrimary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent service to residents, guests, employees and contractorsClean apartments as needed, including model unit(s) on a daily basis.Clean all amenity areas including, but not limited to: lobbies, lounges, offices, restrooms, business center, fitness center, recreation room, corridors, breezeways, and stairways dailyAssist maintenance and management as necessary to ensure curb appealCoordinate housekeeping responsibilities during move-out/move-in assisting contractors and vendors as appropriateAll other miscellaneous duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.Broad-based experience in all aspects of housekeeping.Proficient communicating in English.Ability to work weekends or overtime as job requires.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two step instructionsProfessional and energetic demeanor resulting from previous housekeeping or customer service experienceGood customer service skillsGood communication and listening skillsAble to be an effective team player and interact well with othersAble to effectively communicate with and provide customer service to residents, parents, vendors, and employeesHigh degree of neatness and respect for property combined with a willingness and desire to learn Organized and detail-orientedPatient, even-tempered and works well under pressureAble to understand cleaning solution labels and use as instructedAble to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAble to write simple correspondenceAble to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using basic units of weight measurement, volume, and distanceEffective time management skillsAble to maintain confidentialityAble to follow directions from a supervisorAble to understand and follow posted work rules and proceduresAble to accept constructive criticismWilling to work in all types of weather conditionsAble to work weekends or overtime as job requiresWorking ConditionsWork is typically performed in an indoor environment; exposure to dust, grease, noise, fumes, noxious odors, and cleaning chemicals. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Possible to work long hours and odd schedules (weekends) in order to fulfill job duties.
