HousekeeperHouston, TXChampions Club is looking for a Housekeeper to join our growing team! The Housekeeper is responsible for taking care of a building's general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents. Their duties include cleaning floors, making beds and dusting surfaces throughout a home or other building.This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesDusting and polishing furniture and fixturesCleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinksMaking beds and changing linensVacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugsSweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floorsSorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundryUsing any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning toolsStock and maintain all linens, toiletries, and other supplies frequentlyEmptying trash receptacles and disposing of wasteSteaming and cleaning draperiesWashing/cleaning blinds, windows, mirrors and other glass surfacesTidying up roomsMonitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as neededOrganize all furniture and hotel items to Hotel's standardsReporting any necessary repairs or replacementsAssist guest in terms of room preferenceAssists other departments and duties when needed to ensure optimum service to guestsPerforms additional duties as neededExperience & SkillsMust be 18 years or olderPrior experience preferredWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidayAbility to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communicationAbility to adhere to all company policies and the code of conductUnderstands the company's policy on work shifts, guest's possessions and privacy issuesQualities & PreferencesExemplary time and resource management including good attendanceAbility to maintain peak performance during high stress situationsMust have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skillsThis starting pay for this role is $14.00/hrChampions is a proud equal opportunity employer and all employees and qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.
