Responsibilities
- Housekeeper is responsible for keeping assigned areas of the hotel including front lobby, rooms, kitchen, etc., clean.
- Make or dress beds, clean tables and chairs, refrigerators, sinks, etc.
- Store and receive housekeeping goods, manage inventory levels, ensure the efficient delivery of goods to rooms or designated and secured areas at all times.
- Write reports at the end of the shift
- Coordinate with internal teams to improve cleanliness, productivity and efficiency.
- Manage time wisely while on duty
- Employ best practices when performing housekeeping tasks and associated responsibilities on behalf of the hotel.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6 months to 2+ years of demonstrated experience in housekeeping work
- Knowledgeable in housekeeping work including the use of tools and cleaning solution
- Good guest service skills
- Demonstrable experience in the use of standard equipment (Vacuum Cleaners, Dust Wipers, Buggies, etc.)
