- Cleans rooms, including stripping dirty linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and counters, replenishing linen and guest amenities and moving furniture. All work must be completed within an allotted time frame to meet production standards.
- Greets guests and responds to requests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement. Be knowledgeable of resort services, activities, and local attractions to assist guest inquiries.
- Reports deficiencies in maintaining room in compliance with resort standards.
- Assists co-workers as requested.
- Follows all safety procedures/standards and able to recognize and act in emergency situations.
- Follows key control protocol.
- Maintains cleanliness of carts and ensures supplies and equipment are in a neat and orderly appearance.
- Ensures all assets and supplies for the department are secured in a neat and orderly fashion in storage areas.
- Assists management in maintaining an accurate inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Able to lift to 50lbs; push/pull cart over 200lbs.
- Perform general cleaning duties in public areas (i.e., wipe down stairwells, railings, walkways, trash rooms, maintain all trash bins), and general dusting and deep cleaning of public areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Lobby; ensure all glass doors are clean and spotless.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper stock level of supplies in public area restrooms.
- Reports maintenance deficiencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull/ up to 100 lbs
- Work a full shift (8 hours) walking/standing with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Anticipates customer needs and thinks about how work impacts customers
- Builds confidence in self and others with honest and diligent interactions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English.
- Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise.
