Housekeeper - Be the Heart of a Clean, Comfortable Community
Location: Rockbridge Oaks Senior Living

Your work helps ensure residents, families, and team members experience a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment every day.

What You'll Do - Your Purpose in Action
• Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in accordance with community standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stock housekeeping carts with proper quantities of materials and equipment before each shift.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Safely discard waste and trash, reline containers, and maintain cleanliness throughout the community.
• Polish fixtures, vacuum, dust, mop, and wax floors to maintain a polished, welcoming appearance.
• Recognize and respond promptly to residents' housekeeping needs with courtesy and care.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols, handling potentially infectious materials according to guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to your supervisor promptly.
• Assist with lifting and moving furniture or equipment when needed.
• Turn in lost and found items and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Support the team and contribute to an environment that reflects Thrive's commitment to respect, dignity, and excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your leader.
What You Bring - Your Skills and Heart
• High school diploma or GED preferred (minimum completion of 10th grade required).
• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience in hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently, follow established procedures, and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for serving others and creating an environment that feels like home.
