We own and operate a successful dance studio, which means that our afternoons, evenings, weekends, and travel schedules are busy and often filled with classes, rehearsals, competitions, and business responsibilities. We've created a full and busy life that we love, but keeping our home organized, functional, and peaceful has become difficult to manage alongside everything else. We're feeling overwhelmed by clutter, unfinished projects, and systems that no longer work for the season of life we're in.Our dream is a home that feels calm, organized, and cared for. We want to know where things belong, have healthy snacks ready for the week, stay ahead of laundry, and enjoy our days off without feeling like we should be tackling another household project.

We love fresh flowers, seasonal decor, and thoughtful details that make a space feel welcoming and peaceful. We're hoping to find someone who can become a trusted, dependable presence in our household-someone who enjoys creating order, takes ownership of their work, and finds satisfaction in making a meaningful difference in our family's everyday life.Who You Are / What We're Looking ForYou are highly organized, proactive, and energized by creating order from chaos. Whether it's a closet, pantry, laundry room, or playroom, you genuinely enjoy creating systems that are functional, sustainable, and easy for others to maintain. You have an eye for aesthetics and appreciate the connection between organization and well-being. You understand that a beautifully organized closet, a tidy mudroom, fresh flowers on the counter, or a thoughtfully prepared kitchen can significantly impact how a family feels in their home. You are dependable, professional, and capable of working independently. You don't wait to be told what needs attention-you notice details, take initiative, and follow through.

You're someone who shows up on time, keeps commitments, and takes ownership of your work without needing constant direction or oversight. You have strong social awareness and know how to read the room. You're warm, friendly, and approachable, but you're equally comfortable working quietly behind the scenes. You communicate directly, welcome feedback, and bring thoughtful solutions rather than excuses. Most importantly, you take pride in making life easier for others. You understand that this role is about more than organizing spaces: it's about helping a hardworking family feel more supported, more at ease, and able to enjoy their home again.Key ResponsibilitiesHousehold Organization & MaintenanceCreate and maintain functional household organization systems throughout the homeLead large-scale home organization projects, including general sorting and decluttering, master closet redesign, laundry room optimization, garage organization, and bonus room transformation.Complete light daily tidying including dishes, surface cleaning, and high-traffic vacuumingCoordinate and oversee household cleaners once hiredManage seasonal decor swaps and holiday decoratingUnpack family luggage after travelMaintain indoor plantsReplace batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries as neededInventory & ErrandsTransition household grocery shopping from delivery service to in-store shoppingRestock pantry, fridge, and household suppliesManage household orders and subscriptionsHandle mail sorting (separate personal from studio packages) and break down boxesOrganize and execute donation drop-offsProcess returns and coordinate dry cleaning as neededOccasional gift shopping with specific directionMeal SupportWash and prep fresh produce for easy grab-and-go accessPrepare simple, healthy snacks (think hummus and veggies, berries in containers, protein balls, and chia pudding)Prepare 2-3 component-style dinners per week (taco bowls, egg bakes, etc.)Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organizationLaundry & LinensManage household laundry including washing, folding, organizing, and putting awayWeekly bedding changes and linen rotationAssist with sorting and organizing outgrown children's clothing for donationMindful care of items requiring hang drying or special handlingMaintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areasVendor & Property OversightServe as point person when vendors, contractors, or landscapers are on-siteResearch and coordinate quotes and repairs as neededMaintain outdoor patio and deck areas including watering flowersAssist with gardening and outsourcing landscaping as neededCheck on home during family travel (bring in packages, water plants)Family SupportTransport supplies and materials between home and dance studioOccasional backup childcare for scheduling conflictsPrepare home for guests and eventsHow to ApplyPlease submit:A short introduction letterYour updated resumeThree professional references with contact informationNote: This role requires a background check. When you apply with Sage Haus, you'll also be added to our candidate community email list so we can share hiring updates, resources, and opportunities.
