Our two kids, a spirited 4-year-old daughter in TK and our adventurous 2-year-old son in preschool, bring endless joy and energy to our home. Both of us work in finance, balancing our time between our home office and regional offices, with a mix of travel and occasional work events.

Though weekends are filled with fun family activities, we often find ourselves juggling all the moving pieces! We also share our home with two affectionate cats who are truly part of the family.We're on the lookout for a kind, energetic, and self-sufficient House Manager & Family Assistant to help us keep the home running smoothly, so we can focus on what matters most—our work and time with our kids. We need someone who's proactive, highly organized, and ready to pitch in, whether it's tackling household tasks or stepping in to assist with the kids when needed.Who We're Looking ForWe're hoping to find someone who is as enthusiastic and engaged as we are, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for multitasking.

We're looking for someone who's flexible, calm under pressure, and who can easily adapt to the ebb and flow of our family's needs.

A love for engaging with our kids is a must, and experience with household management and meal prep is key to succeeding in this role.Core ResponsibilitiesHousehold Management & Organization:Maintain household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys)Reset and tidy rooms daily; maintain overall neatness, ensure hope is prepped for cleaning servicesConduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding, etc.)Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest staysPrepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick upsSupport packing/unpacking for travel or seasonal transitionsLoad/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areasMaintain indoor plantsInventory Management & Errands:Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household suppliesCreate and manage running household supply listsCoordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shoppingMeal Planning & Preparation:Plan and prep healthy meals/snacks for adults and/or kids (2x week)Batch cook easy freezer meals or snacks, easy grab and go for lunchShop for groceries and meal-related itemsClean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidinessLaundry & Linen Care:Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (e.g., clothing, bedding, towels)Manage linens: rotate bedding, refresh towels, restock essentialsKeep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with suppliesPet Care:Keep cat food area tidyKeep pet supplies stocked and organizedVendor & Property Oversight:Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotesOversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needsFamily Support & Child Assistance:Back-up assistance with school/activity pick-ups or drop-offsBack-up childcarePrep backpacks, clothing, or snacks for schoolHelp with child-related laundry or errandsDeep Cleaning & Special Projects:Tackle occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards, etc.)Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom)Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthlyOrganize special projects: toy storage, seasonal decorations, gear rotationHow to ApplyPlease send the following:A brief letter explaining why you'd be a great fit for this positionYour updated resumeThree professional referencesThis role requires a background check.Note: When you apply with Sage Haus, you'll also be added to our candidate community email list so we can share hiring updates, resources, and opportunities.
