At home, we value organization, efficiency, and a calm, well-run environment that allows us to be fully present with each other.Without nearby family support, we're intentionally building our own village. We're looking for a trusted, capable partner who can help manage the day-to-day rhythm of our home—overseeing meal prep, maintaining organization, and bringing structure and steadiness to our weekly routines. Experience with toddlers is important, but equally valuable is your steady presence, sound judgment, and ability to create order in a busy home.If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard household and genuinely enjoy building systems that make life easier for others, we'd love to connect.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role focuses on keeping the household running smoothly day to day, with a few core priorities that anchor the work. Other responsibilities support the overall flow of the home and are handled as time allows or on an as-needed basis. We care more about the right things getting done – not checking all the boxes.Daily Must-Haves (Monday-Thursday priorities):Prepare a healthy, whole-food-forward dinner M-ThPackage leftovers for parents to repurpose as lunches during the weekEnsure kitchen cleanliness post meal prepAssist with smaller, ongoing tasks, such as laundry, errands, maintaining home systemsDaily sweep of the house to reset main living spaces before leaving (load/unload dishwasher, clear counters and wipe surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)Childcare Support & Special Projects (Saturday focus):Childcare oversight while parents run errands, go to the gym, etc.Ensure children are kept active without relying on screen timeTackle larger, more time-intensive projects, such as restocking groceries, cleaning out pantry, closet organizationThe above core responsibilities come first, but once handled, we welcome support in other areas as time allows and needs arise, including:Household Management & OrganizationMaintain & elevate household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys)Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding, etc.)Prepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick upsSupport packing/unpacking for travel or seasonal transitionsMaintain indoor plantsPotential to help oversee household schedules and calendars as the kids get olderInventory Management & ErrandsTrack and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household suppliesCreate and manage running household supply listsCoordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shoppingHandle package pickup, breaking down boxes, mail sorting, and deliveriesMeal Planning & PreparationPrioritize preparing healthy, balanced dinners M-ThShop for groceries and meal-related itemsClean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidinessKeep fridge organized and clean out expired itemsLaundry & Linen CareWash, dry, fold, and organize mom's clothingOversee linen management: coordinate with cleaners, rotate bedding between guests, refresh towels, restock essentialsKeep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with suppliesDrop off and pick up clothing from drycleanersPet CareFeed and walk two small dogsSchedule and coordinate vet, grooming, or daycare appointmentsAdminister medications, if requiredKeep pet supplies stocked and organizedWeekly clean-up of 'potty area' along side of houseVehicle ManagementSchedule and oversee maintenance, oil changes, and inspectionsEnsure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organizedTrack registration, insurance, and service schedulesFamily Support & Child AssistanceProvide childcare oversight on Saturdays to allow parents time for errands, workout, etc.Openness to serving as backup overnight childcare or as needed when nannies are unavailableDeep Cleaning & Special ProjectsManage cleaners to focus on rotating monthly deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards, etc.)Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom)Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthlyOrganize special projects: toy storage, seasonal decorations, gear rotationAdministrative & Personal Assistant SupportPotential for help with travel planning, scheduling, and logisticsHow to ApplyPlease submit:A short letter introducing yourself and explaining why you'd be a great fit.Your updated resume.Three professional references with contact information.This role requires a background check.Disclaimer: When you apply with Sage Haus, you'll also be added to our candidate community email list so we can share hiring updates, resources, and opportunities.
