Our household is full of life — three young children (with a fourth on the way), a beloved Mini Australian Shepherd, and a team of dedicated household staff who each play an important role in supporting our family. We value kindness, trust, initiative, and genuine partnership, and we believe the best households are built by great people working together toward a common goal. Both parents run their own businesses, which means life moves quickly and there are always plenty of moving pieces to coordinate.

We've intentionally built support in several areas, including a family chef, dedicated childcare providers, and weekly cleaners. What we're missing is someone who can serve as the connective tissue of the household — helping manage the daily details, keeping projects moving forward, coordinating with our existing team, and creating the systems and structure that allow everything to run more smoothly. Our home is already a happy and energetic place, but like many families with young children, growing responsibilities, and busy careers, there are organizational projects that linger, laundry that never seems fully finished, spaces that could use more structure, and household logistics that require ongoing attention. With multiple properties to oversee and several upcoming projects on the horizon, we're seeking someone who can help bring organization, consistency, and proactive support to our household operations. We are not micromanagers.

We believe in hiring exceptional people and empowering them to take ownership of their role. We deeply appreciate professionals who can anticipate needs, think several steps ahead, and execute with confidence, care, and good judgment. Our goal is to find someone who can serve as a trusted partner in helping our household run smoothly—someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy environments, coordinating people and projects, and creating systems that make everyday life feel more manageable.Who You Are / What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized professional who enjoys creating order, efficiency, and calm within a busy household.

You are self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities with minimal oversight. Rather than waiting for direction, you anticipate needs, think several steps ahead, and proactively solve problems. You thrive in a dynamic environment, can comfortably manage multiple priorities at once, and enjoy coordinating household logistics, projects, vendors, and systems. Adaptable, trustworthy, and discreet, you communicate clearly, work well independently, and remain flexible as needs evolve.Above all, you're someone who takes genuine pride in supporting others, values excellence in the details, and finds fulfillment in helping a busy family feel organized, supported, and able to focus on what matters most.Key ResponsibilitiesHousehold Organization & MaintenanceCreate, implement, and maintain household organization systems throughout the homeDaily resets and tidying (surfaces clear, high-traffic areas tidy)Ensure the home is organized, decluttered, and prepared for weekly cleaning services.Maintain high-clutter zones: laundry room, mudroom, kitchen paper corner, and entry areasKids' clothing inventory, sizing organization, and seasonal swapsIndoor plant care for 50+ houseplants using an existing watering schedule appChange batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors as neededHoliday and birthday party support: invitations, logistics, gift acquisitionPacking and unpacking support for family travelDeep Cleaning & Special ProjectsOccasional deep cleans beyond the scope of weekly cleaners: fridge, oven, baseboardsWeekly hot tub and cold plunge maintenanceRefresh and organize garage, mudroom, and entry zonesCoordinate organizational projects (linen closet, garage, play areas)Laundry & LinensFull laundry service: wash, fold, and put away for the entire householdEstablish and maintain laundry system and coordinate with existing household staff on laundry responsibilities to ensure consistent completionIroning, steaming, and care for special garmentsWeekly linen and towel rotation and refreshInventory & ErrandsRestock pantry, fridge, and household suppliesCoordinate with the family chef on grocery needs and pantry inventory to reduce overlapManage household subscriptions and orders (Amazon, Costco, Target)Handle returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, and mail and package managementCoordinate and complete household shopping, including bulk purchasing and grocery replenishmentVendor & Property OversightServe as the primary point of contact for contractors, landscapers, cleaners, and other service providersResearch vendors, gather proposals, and provide recommendations for repairs and projectsCoordinate current open projects (including pending contractor work on shower glass enclosure)Oversee vendor scheduling across all propertiesEstate-Level OversightManage logistics and maintenance coordination across three propertiesNearby property (approximately 10 minutes away): coordinate with pool company, landscapers, and pond cleaning service; support potential Airbnb/hosting plansCabin property (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes away): serve as primary contact for the existing on-site Airbnb managerOversee home systems including HVAC, security, and poolConduct routine property check-ins and ensure readiness across all locationsAdministrative & Personal Assistant SupportManage the family calendar: school events, extracurriculars, appointments, and scheduling across the householdProactively communicate upcoming events and reminders to both parentsSchedule and coordinate on an as needed basis appointments: family dental, monthly massage subscription, and other recurring needsAssist with travel logistics including flights and hotel bookingsEvent and birthday party planning and coordinationFamily SupportOccasional backup childcare to support the existing childcare team as neededOccasional extracurricular drop-offs and pickups (dance, soccer, and other extra curricular activities)Overnight coverage during parent travel, approximately twice per year (preferred but not required)Comfortable being present with children of all ages, including a newborn joining the householdVehicle UpkeepSchedule and track maintenance for family vehiclesHandle fueling, cleaning, and organizingTrack registration and insurance documentationPet CareSchedule vet and grooming appointments for the family dogOccasional walks and outdoor playMaintain pet suppliesHow to ApplyPlease send the following:A cover letterAn updated resume3 professional references with contact informationPlease note that
