Schedule may increase as family needs evolve.Compensation: $32–$35 / hourStart Date: August / September 2026RequirementsMaintain a smoke-free environmentReliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to travel with the family (passport required)About Our FamilyWe're a fun, energetic family of three (with two friendly cats, and a baby on the way!) living in a cozy home full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of organized chaos. Our almost three-year-old son keeps us on our toes with his curiosity and playful spirit, and we're also navigating the challenges of caring for a family member undergoing cancer treatment. One parent works long hours outside the home, and the other is focused on building a business from home (with occasional days working outside of the home), so we're often balancing a lot of moving parts.

We're a family that values peace, calm, and being fully present with one another, but we need someone who can help bring order to our busy lives so we can focus on what matters most. We're all about creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and supported, but we're also looking for someone who can bring structure, be proactive, and ensure things are running smoothly on a daily basis. If you thrive in a warm, loving environment, enjoy variety, and are excited to become a trusted part of our family, we'd love to have you on board!Who You Are / What We're Looking ForYou're the kind of person who brings calm to the chaos — emotionally steady, adaptable, and able to roll with the punches. We're looking for someone who is naturally proactive, always thinking one step ahead, and taking initiative.

You thrive on creating systems that make everything flow more smoothly and you love that feeling of efficiency when everything is in its place. You have a warm and positive disposition and you enjoy interaction and caring for children. You're a confident communicator who asks good questions, flags things before they become issues, and welcomes kind, constructive feedback. You're warm and positive, you enjoy being in a home environment where people actually live, and you have the professional discretion to know when to chat and when to focus. You're looking for a steady, long-term part-time role, not a temporary stop on the way to something else.

You take real ownership, build systems, and leave every shift having made a genuine difference.Key ResponsibilitiesHousehold Management & OrganizationMaintain household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys)Reset and tidy rooms daily, maintain overall neatness, and ensure home is prepped for cleaning servicesClean bathrooms and floors of home weeklyConduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding, etc.)Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest staysSupport packing/unpacking for travel or seasonal transitionsPrepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick upsLoad/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areasMaintain indoor plantFamily Support & Child AssistanceAssist with school/activity pick-ups or drop-offsLight supervision, playtime, and occasional backup childcarePrep backpacks, clothing, and snacks for schoolHelp with child-related laundry and errandsManage child-related supply inventory i.e. milk, diapers, wipesAssist with management and storage of outgrown clothes and toysInventory Management & ErrandsTrack and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household suppliesCreate and manage running household supply listsCoordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)Run errands including grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shoppingHandle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveriesRecharge lights, lamps, and accessoriesMeal Planning & PreparationPlan and prep healthy meals/snacksPack school lunchesProvide meal prep for family dinners twice weekly, following protein-forward preferencesShop for groceriesClean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidinessLaundry & Linen CareWash, dry, fold, hang and organize family laundry (e.g., clothing, bedding, towels)Manage linens: rotate bedding, refresh towels, restock essentialsKeep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with suppliesHandle special care for delicates or uniformsPet CareFeed cats and replenish waterClean automatic litter box 1x weeklySchedule and coordinate vetKeep pet supplies stocked and organizedVehicle ManagementSchedule and oversee maintenance, oil changes, and inspectionsEnsure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organizedTrack registration, insurance, and service schedulesVendor & Property OversightSchedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers)Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotesManage routine upkeepOversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance needsServe as primary contact for vendors or guestsDeep Cleaning & Special ProjectsMaintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, garage, mudroom, front porch)Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthlyOrganize special projects: toy storage and rotation, seasonal decorations, gear rotationAdministrative & Personal Assistant SupportHelp with travel planning, scheduling, and logisticsHelp managing family calendars and remindersAssist with coordination of events, appointments, and guest prepHow to ApplyPlease submit a short intro letter telling us about yourself and why this role is a great fit, an updated resume, and 3 professional references with contact information.
