The office is open, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm (or 7:30am-4:30pm during summer).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Determine ID card eligibility for students, faculty/staff, spouse/dependents and other UW affiliated personnel.Create IDs and passport photos.Enter data into office-specific software.Troubleshoot issues with ID cards.Use cash register/credit card machine.Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals who come through our office.Assist with general office duties including, but not limited to, answering phones, greeting customers, record keeping, and organizing.Minimum Qualifications:Education: High School DiplomaExperience: Customer service or data entryDesired Qualifications:Education: some collegeExcellent customer service skills - in person and on the phone.Extremely detail-oriented.Ability to multi-task.Experience with and/or ability to quickly learn office procedures and new computer software/hardware.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook in particular).Ability to keep confidentiality.Excellent problem solving skills.Required Application Materials: Complete the online application.
